Family Collabs are Fun! Seriously, though, there is truly nothing like spending some quality creative time with a kiddo to really drive the point home! The new Abstract Florals print series is a collaboration between my son and I. During the early days of sheltering in place, we were adapting to a strange new normal and I was trying to stay keep things light and fun as I grappled with the weirdness. I found myself relishing our time together, quietly creating.
It was such a fun and soothing outlet during a stressful time. While watching these pieces spring forth in rapid secession, I felt that the process was really the most important part art-making.
